About Us
Incorporated as a Private Limited Company in 1962, Alhaj Textile Mills Ltd remains one of the oldest manufacturers of cotton yarn in Bangladesh. Converted to a Public Limited Company in 1967, the Mill’s manufacturing units are located in Ishwardi, Pabna. Setting its second unit encompassing a total of 20,160 Spindles and 800 rotor head.
In 1971 post independence all of country’s Textile entities were nationalized and again 1982 mills were denationalized.
Over the years after denationalization the Board of Directors (Sponsor Directors & Shareholder Directors) of Alhaj Textile Mills Ltd continued the company's operations.
Unlike others in its sectors Alhaj Textile Mills Limited produces different types of yarn to better serve its customers. The different types of yarn produced in Alhaj Textile Mills Limited are 100% cotton yarn like 40, 50, 54, 60, 80 counts. We also produced open end yarn 10 - 20 count from our Rotor machines.
It focuses in more than just producing different types of yarn it also focuses on providing its customers with best the quality product at a reasonable price. Alhaj Textile Mills Limited is certified and purchases its cotton from internationally well reputed cotton producers from USA, Australia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and India.
